However, the image quality associated with mobile phone cameras is currently significantly lower than corresponding digital still cameras.

Advasense CIS products are designed to address camera phone specific market needs, using very small pixels to increase image resolution from the same die size. Advasense's ASIO CIS products are based on the company's 1.4µ FCP technology, and offer a variety of image resolutions, features and interfaces. Within the ASIO family, there are basic implementations that offer Bayer RGB output, as well as on-chip ISP versions, offering vivid video streams and rich, still images.
